Afterward...

Here you can see some creepers in my dungeon.
At this point, I decided that I wanted to build a cathedral. Here's interior and exterior:

I had many projects going on across the map at this point, but I decided to take up one huge one...

Subsequently...

This project led to many other projects springing up along the perimeter bridge. I started on a castle that is all up in the air, with different rooms, like a snow room, which stretches into a snow biome, and a lava pool on a glass floor, and an obsidian room which took forever.
Then I started up on a quarry to gather blocks, while simultaneously making a fairly interesting location.
Then I decided that I would dig a tunnel with tracks from one earth clearing location to the far north-west, to my quarry in the far south-east. This was a pretty big project in itself. It's a mine shaft, known as a drift, separated by a row of pillars.

Shortly thereafter...

Started expanding my territory. First built a bridge connecting my tower to a nearby cliff.
After that, I decided that I was going to build a bridge that would span the entire map, and build a primary structure in the middle of it.
Finally, built the primary structure, and that was the Kingdom of Ardock.

And then...

Then I started on a structure that would go from max height to max depth.
After that, I figured that I would start up on a larger-scale project that would encompass an entire in-game map worth of distance.

Starting off...

So, I picked up Minecraft a couple months ago, and was instantly addicted. It serves as a nice creative output. I went through a few trial worlds before I finally got one that I liked. And the structures and areas just continue to expand. On this blog, I'll be posting some of my better creations.

At first, I started off building a primary structure, with a mine beneath it, and an arboretum on top.
